A photo taken at my in-laws' house just after New Year's Eve. A snapshot of everyday life, captured on the spot. The dog (Flo) caught chewing on a balloon is about to be reprimanded. The photo is taken from animal height, so all we see of my niece is a hand and a slipper. It's an unintentional homage to Mammy Two Shoes, the fictional character in the Tom and Jerry cartoons whose lower body was only visible. It just goes to show how useful it is to have your camera with you at all times.

Une photo prise chez ma belle-famille, juste après le nouvel an. Un instantané de vie quotidienne, capturé sur le vif. Le chien (Flo) surpris en flagrant délit de mâchonnage de ballon est sur le point d’être réprimandé. La photo est prise à hauteur d’animal, ce qui fait qu’on ne voit de ma nièce qu’une main et un chausson. Un hommage, involontaire, à Mammy Two Shoes, le personnage de fiction dans les dessins animés Tom et Jerry’ dont on ne voyait que le bas du corps. Comme quoi, il est utile d’avoir son appareil photo sous la main en toute occasion.
