Taken through the window of an aeroplane (on the flight from London to Minorca), the successive layers of misty mountains seem to have been taken from a Japanese print of the Ukiyo ('floating world') movement. I like it when landscapes (or architecture) approach abstraction, when you're not quite sure what you're looking at.

Prise à travers le hublot d’un avion (sur le vol Londres - Minorque), les montagnes embrumées en couches successives semblent tirées d’une estampe japonaise du mouvement Ukiyo (« monde flottant »). J’aime quand les paysages (ou les architecture) se rapprochent de l’abstrait, quand on n’est plus très sûr de ce que l’on regarde.
