Artistic Projects

A selection of ongoing and completed photographic series developed over time.

JOUR (Joyful Observations of Unfiltered Reality)

2018 -

I became a photographer and a father at the same time. Through the photographs I question the narrative of growing up, between domestic normality, magical first moments and those fleeting, small changes that often go unnoticed in the routine of daily life.

From Above

2020 - 2022

At a time when people were being asked to isolate from one another, I saw them seek other types of connections. The coastline drew people to it. Its vastness providing safety and its ever changing face embraced everyone who engaged with it. Viewing this interaction from above accentuates how small each of us are in this world. The sheer space around the subjects reinforces the loneliness felt by many.

From the Window

2015 -

Focused on the opportunity the window provides to the viewer and its importance as a source of light, this series explores how the light becomes an opening to the outside world, providing a personal passage between inside and outside which is unique to each of us. The window represents a call to travel metaphorically, a promise of somewhere else.
